Jack brings his energy, humor, and expertise to all staff development as he helps teachers and administrators remember why this job makes a difference. Jack Berckemeyer is known for his motivating, practical ideas communicating a message of hope, laughter, and insight into education. The Common Core Middle-Level Classroom — Getting It Right!
June 29 & 30, Tec-Smart, Hudson Valley Community College, Malta, NY
NYSMSA is proud to host the 13th Annual Mid-dle-Level Institute at the Hudson Valley Commu-nity College Tec-Smart Facility in Malta, NY. Participants will select one of four workshops being offered by expert practitioners and will re-ceive twelve hours of intensive middle–level in-struction. Each session is explicitly aligned to the Board of Regents’ Reform Agenda to ensure that all NYS students are “college and career ready” upon graduation. We understand the important role that middle-level educators play in preparing our students for college and careers, and our work-shop offerings will support middle-level educators in that role.
